Something Fell from the Sky in the Field. Police are Investigating the Details

According to "Fakt," the incident occurred in a village in the Miłakowo commune (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship). One of the residents noticed an object that fell near his property and notified the police.

Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Ostróda secured the area until the appropriate authorities arrived. The case is being handled by the District Prosecutor's Office in Elbląg.

"Indeed, near Morąg, an unidentified object was secured. Officers from the Internal Security Agency (ABW), gendarmerie, and police were on site," confirmed Ewa Ziębka from the District Prosecutor's Office in Elbląg in an interview with "Fakt."

She added, "Preliminary findings indicate it is a meteorological balloon. It has been secured and will undergo further examination."
